Yesterday was Haydn's birthday. I can't believe my little man is two years old! Like every other parent-child relationship, we've already had our ups and downs. Haydn's a great kid! He loves to make us happy and is usually quick to respond to anything.
We had a little family birthday party yesterday for Haydn. All of his grandparents came along with Aunt Susan, and Uncle Jake. We had homemade pizza (with PLENTY left over) and Neanie's garden salad (with all the vegetables!). Haydn ate his pizza his customary way, with ranch dressing. That boy loves his ranch. He eats it on just about everything: from waffles to pineapple, there is nothing he doesn't like ranch on. He also loved opening presents. What kid doesn't, right? =) His birthday cake was a homemade Boston Cream Pie.
Here's a few pictures!

Insomnia
What do you do in the middle of the night when you can't sleep?
I am literally bored out of my mind. I woke up about an hour ago desperately needing to take some allergy medicine. I have one huge problem with taking allergy medicine... it gives me heart burn/acid reflux. So, when I lay back down the burning starts and then I start coughing and then I can't stop coughing. I don't technically have insomnia, just can't go to sleep for a little while.
AHHH!

Baby Bump
I just wanted to let you all know... There is NO Baby Bump. I've noticed that some eyes have wandered and end on my stomach. There is no baby and probably won't be a baby for some time. As much as we would love to have another baby, it just is not the time for us.

Tis the Season
The Christmas season is meant to be a time when we are giving and share what we have with others. It may be money, service, or just some time. Today I had the opportunity to give a stranger some time and service. I'm so thankful for the opportunity and the strength to go forward with it. I hope everyone has the opportunity to help someone and to take advantage of the opportunity. I hope you can bless someone's life with a "Christmas Story".
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas!
