A Good Night's Rest

One of the first times Haydn slept through the night as a baby, was for eleven hours straight. I remember waking up and asking Adam if he had gotten up with him. It was wonderful! Now that Haydn's a toddler (and sleeps through the night) we aren't all that surprised when he sleeps ten or eleven hours straight. What surprises us now is when he sleeps for fourteen or fifteen hours straight. When he does this, he falls asleep between 4 or 5 pm. Every single time I think it's going to be just a catnap. Not that he does this often, but probably once a month or so. Yesterday Haydn decided he was so tired and fell asleep at 4:30. We went ahead and had dinner without him, and waited to see if he'd wake up. Since he didn't, we decided to go ahead and go to bed early. What a treat! The down fall of him going to bed this early is that he might wake up anywhere between 6am - 10am. Sure enough, he woke up around 6.
Since he woke up so early, we played peek-a-boo with a blanket. He even does this in the car!
I thought this was an adorable picture! He still has breakfast on his face. =)

I can really see Adam in that picture! Where did my little baby Haydn go??? Love those nights when you get to sleep ALL night and get some 'alone time' in the evening!

His face is thinning out and looks more and more like Adam as it does. I often see the "Roe" cousins in him now. He definitely makes "Roe" facial expressions too! I love it!
