The Boy Scouts of America have been sponsored by our church for a very long time. A large portion of the young men in our church also participate in Boy Scouts. This weekend they had a camp out and needed an additional leader just for today. Adam got up bright and early, on his day off, and went to help. Adam is always volunteering to help when he can. He does not have a lot of spare time to do much, but is always willing to help. This is an attribute I love very much of my husband. I'm so thankful for his example and his willingness to always serve others. I'm also very thankful that Haydn has a good example to follow.

Yea, Adam!! I know it is hard when the few moments you have to be a family are taken by the need to volunteer for something else. It's hard with a young family in this crazy world, but the Lord will bless you immensely for allowing your husband to serve and he will be blessed for serving. See, it ends up being a two-for-one deal!!
And, btw, thanks for commenting on my blog. It makes me sad that people don't write.
